Da Lat is a young city compared to other cities in the south of Vietnam such as Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and Nha Trang as it was founded only in the late 1890s. Once serving as the capital of the Federation of Indochina, Dalat’s permanent image nevertheless is as a holiday resort in Vietnam’s Central Highlands, the reason for which it was originally established. Da Lat features many interesting landmarks. Its lakes and waterfalls have long stood out as some of its top attractions while Emperor Bao Dai’s Summer Palace and the Buddhist pagodas are equally popular. Visitors can spot a good number of well-preserved French villas and chalets in the French Quarter located not far from the city centre.
Mui Ne and Phan Thiet attractions range from stunning beaches, tropical forest and sand dunes to traditional villages, fishing harbour and ancient structures such as the Po Shanu Cham Towers and Van Thuy Tu Temple. Must-visits include the iconic Red and White Sand Dunes, which offer a fun-filled day of riding ATVs and sliding down the slopes on plastic sleds while Fairy Stream is a photography and hiking hotspot thanks to its dramatic landscape of white and red sand dunes, verdant trees, colourful flowers, and coconut palms.
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival
Upon your arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and after clearing customs, please proceed to the Meeting Point area at the arrival hall of Terminal 2 to meet our local tour guide. Transfer to check in hotel and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Dalat City (B/L/D)
After breakfast, you check out hotel and transfer to Airport flight to Dalat City. In Dalat City, fisrt, you go to visit Datanla Waterfall - Datanla used to be called “Da Tam N’nha” by the native people. The word “Da Tam N’nha’ was pronounced to “Datania” and then changed to “Datanla”. It has become the official name until now. Datanla’s wide array of activities, including, a roller-coaster, cable car, abseiling, rafting, and ‘free jumping’. Then, you’ll go to visit Truc Lam Mediataion Monastery Pagoda for the stunning scenery around before enjoy a cable cabin for an overview of whole city from cabin window. Have lunch at local reataurant.
In the afternoon, visit The Crazy House - one of the most unique buildings in Vietnam. It’s designed based on organic architectural principles to recreate nature. It’s philosophy is to create a space that connects human functionality within the natural environment. Continue to visit Dalat Sunny Farm Cafe. Sunny Farm cafe is covered fully by transparent glass, allowing tourists to admire the immense space freely. The shop has a bright pink peach blossom tree in the corner of the yard, and a panoramic view of Da Lat city far away. The yard outside the restaurant is quite spacious, is ideal for tourists to make barbecues, or simpler, to take their eyes away while enjoying a cup of hot coffee. The next place is Hydrangeas Flower Garden – is the hottest destination of the last few days, becoming an ideal place to enjoy the scenery, take a photo. There are also finely-trimmed topiary displays found throughout the park. The park entrance greets visitors with an arc-shaped flower arrangement featuring hundreds of impressive flowerpots. After have dinner, you go to shopping at Bazzar Night Market. Check in hotel and overnight in Dalat City.
Day 3: Dalat City – Mui Ne (B/L/D)
After breakfast at hotel, we transfer to Phan Thiet – Mui Ne and have lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you go to visit Red Sand Dunes and White Sand Dunes. Take advantage of this — walk around, snap over a hundred pictures, and enjoy the several lakes and swamps found right in the middle of this sandy desert. Then visit Fairy Stream - is a photography hotspot in Mui Ne due to its dramatic landscape of reds, whites, oranges and pinks. Visitors are encouraged to take off their shoes and wade through the water during their visit to Fairy Stream as the shore can get rather hot to walk on, especially in the summer
Have dinner at local restaurant. Check in hotel and overnight at Mui Ne.
Day 4: Mui Ne – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/D)
Check out hotel, transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City and have lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, enjoy a photo stop at the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral as well as the General Post Office with its ancient French architecture. Have lunch at local restaurant. Then, you’ll go to visit The Café Apartmen. The Café Apartment is packed with cool places to hang-out, meet-up, socialize, bring a date, or do some work. The building, which is an attraction in itself, is like a library of coffee shops. Later, you enjoy the performance of Water Puppet Show.
Have dinner at local restaurant. Checkin hotel and overnight in Ho chi Minh City.
Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City- Departure (B/L)
Have breakfast and check out hotel. You’ll go to shopping at Ben Thanh Market – a bustling market that is popular among the native city dwellers and tourists alike, offering everything from souvenirs to clothes as well as local delicacies. Have lunch at local restaurant.
Transfer to the airport for a flight departure.
