The Silver Waterfall Sapa, or as the locals call it ‘Thac Bac’ is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the region. Head north along the Sapa loop road and discover the raging Thac Bac waterfall in the San Sai Ho mountainside.
The winding road north of Sapa towards Thac Bac Silver Waterfall is incredibly scenic and I am sure that you will want to stop more than once to take in the breathtaking views of the rice terraces and Vietnams highest peak, Fansipan.
The entrance to the Silver Waterfall Sapa is on the side of the main road, you won’t miss it. There are also a dozen souvenir and food shacks lined up along the shoulder of the main road where you can browse for some trinkets or something to eat and drink.
After breakfast, guide will pick you up for a wonderful drive up the O Quy Ho Pass, which is one of the four greatest mountain passes in Vietnam. On the way to the top, you will stop to visit Silver waterfall and Love waterfall. They are stunning falls formed by majestic Hoang Lien mountain range.
Silver Waterfall has long been known as a landmark of Sapa with the height of over 100m from the top of the mountain. Standing at the foot of the Silver Waterfall, you can watch the vastness of the sky and the majestic mountain ridges.
At the elevation of more than two thousand meter, the top of the O Quy Ho Pass is considered the gate to the heaven, at the Haven Gate you will enjoy the spectacular mountains of Hoang Lien National Park including the Fansipan mountain – the roof of Indochina with an elevation of 3,143m above sea level. After visiting Heaven Gate, we will drive back to Sapa. You will have some hours to explore the pretty town before return to Hanoi.
