Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport and after clearing customs, please proceed to the Meeting Point area at “Gate 02” at the arrival hall of Terminal 2 to meet our local tour guide. Transfer to hotel for checking-in. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B)
In the morning, you pay a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Continue on to the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda at West lake - one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam, then Temple of Literature and Quoc Tu Giam, see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 - it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past.
In the afternoon, you take a half day tour Hanoi including the Presidential Palace – a grand colonial building that houses the living and working headquarters for the French Governor General of Indochina; Saint Joseph Cathedral – Hanoi’s oldest Roman Catholic Church which was completed in 1886 and emulate the architectural visage of the famous Notre Dame in Paris; as well as Hanoi Opera House – one of the most famous architectural landmarks of Hanoi. Later, continue on with a rickshaw around the heart of the old city; experience around The Old Quarter – a maze of quaint narrow streets dating back to the 13th century, each named after the craft or goods that was specifically traded there. Later, you enjoy the performance of Water Puppet Show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Tam Coc – Bich Dong (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, you’ll picked up at hotel for a full-day to Ninh Binh – the ancient capital of Vietnam. The first destination is Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, known as the ancient capital of Vietnam during the Dinh and Le dynasties. This offers tourists a chance to come back many significant milestone of Vietnam’s meaningful history. Surrounded by high limestone mountains and earthen walls, King Dinh and Le Temples boast their spectacular charm in the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital Complex. On the road coming back to the unique spiritual life, tourists seem to lost in the ancient atmosphere of Vietnam feudal period.
Go to the restaurant and you will be welcomed with a warm lunch filled with lots of specialties featuring the yin-yang balance of Asian culture.
In the afternoon, you arrive at Tam Coc. Based on the experience of most local, you will have the perfect memory in Tam Coc with taking a sampan with locals here. Friendly locals will pick up you and we start a 1.5-hour ride along Ngo Dong River. Tam Coc is literally known as ‘three caves” in Vietnam. Visiting Tam Coc, you will explore the mysterious caves including Hang Ca, Hang Hai and Hang Ba. Majestic limestone cliffs, mysterious caves, rural scenery with peaceful river, rice fields - Tam Coc seems to possess all. Relax or cycling around the countryside before transfer back to Hanoi for the night. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi – Halong – Hanoi (B/L)
In the morning, you’ll be picked up at your hotel and depart for Halong Bay. Arrive at Tuan Chau port in Halong city. Get on boat and start discovering the legendary bay. Lunch will be served while cruising to the most beautiful areas of the Halong Bay. This is a great chance to enjoy the stunning scenery with amazing rock formations such as fighting cocks, incense Burner, and many other islets look like Duck, Dog, Thumb. The boat will pass by a fishing village and stop for kayaking by your own alongside limestone cliffs, through water caves, around the fishing village to discover the daily life of the fishermen living here. Bamboo boats are available for whom cannot do kayaking. The last destination of the trip is one of the most beautiful caves – Thien Cung Cave before cruising back to the harbor. Transfer back to Hanoi for the night.
Day 5: Hanoi – Departure (B)
Relax at hotel until transfer to the airport for a flight departure.
