Marble Mountains will make a great idea -Marble Mountains, also known as Ngu Hanh Son, is the group of five hills, made of limestone and marble. They look like 5 fingers lying close to the sea. There are several caves, caverns, pagodas, many stairs and 2 spectacular viewing points. They are also home to several Buddhist sanctuaries and Hindu grottoes which are much visited places of worship for the local population. The Marble Mountain has become one of the must-see destinations for those who enjoy the beauty of nature and want a respite from the busy urban areas.
My Son holy land was once a religious and political center of the mighty Champa Kingdom which flourished all over central and south Viet Nam from 7th century to 13th century. The exquisite complex comprised 70 structures built by Cham kings to commemorate important events during their reigns. However, about 20 of these sites were nearly destroyed and many others were partly ruined by aerial bombs during the American war. Only 25 monuments remain intact today and parts of these are deteriorating due to weather conditions and vegetation overgrowth.
