Halong Bay is a beautiful natural wonder in northern Vietnam near the Chinese border. The Bay is dotted with 1,600 limestone islands and islets and covers an area of over 1,500 sqkm. This extraordinary area was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. For many tourists, this place is like something right out of a movie. The fact is that Halong Bay features a wide range of biodiversity, while the surrealistic scenery has indeed featured in endless movies.
Breakfast at hotel.
In the morning, you’ll be picked up at your hotel and depart for Halong Bay. Arrive at Tuan Chau port in Halong city. Get on boat and start discovering the legendary bay. Lunch will be served while cruising to the most beautiful areas of the Halong Bay. This is a great chance to enjoy the stunning scenery with amazing rock formations such as fighting cocks, incense Burner, and many other islets look like Duck, Dog, Thumb. The boat will pass by a fishing village and stop for kayaking by your own alongside limestone cliffs, through water caves, around the fishing village to discover the daily life of the fishermen living here. Bamboo boats are available for whom can not do kayaking. The last destination of the trip is one of the most beautiful caves – Thien Cung Cave before cruising back to the harbor.
Transfer back to Hanoi for the night.
