TPO - The Asian Development Tour professional golf competition, which is now in its second year in Danang, provides cash prizes of up to $100,000

The Nicklaus Course at the BRG Danang Golf Resort, which has been named one of the "Top 100 Best Golf Courses in the World for 2022" by Golf Digest magazine, will host the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2023 as a part of the Asian Development Tour system for the Asian Tour from August 29 to September 2. This year's championship is anticipated to attract 144 professional golfers, including 120 international golfers and 24 Vietnamese golfers. In last year's tournament, Chinese golfer Chen Guxin claimed victory with a score of -8.

 In its second year being organized in Danang, many Vietnamese golf athletes will participate in this tournament, thus preparing themselves in terms of mentality, strategic skills, and physical condition for the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China in September. Notably, the 32nd SEA Games champion Lê Khánh Hưng, 32nd SEA Games silver medalist Nguyễn Anh Minh, and numerous talented young Vietnamese golfers will be part of the event.

The championship's total prize money is $100,000, an increase of $25,000 from the previous year. In fact, this is one of the things luring the best Asian golfers to the event. The Danang Golf Tourism Festival 2023, with the theme "Swings Riding Emotional Waves," will also include exhibitions, seminars, and entertainment events in addition to the thrilling and competitive matches. This event promises a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere for golfers as well as the general public.

Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Bình - Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Danang Golf Tourism Festival 2023, stated: "With the intention of bringing the sport of golf closer to the people and visitors, the Organizing Committee of the Danang Golf Tourism Festival 2023 introduces new activities including booth exhibitions and golf check-ins, golf trial experiences, fashion shows, and cuisine. Through this event, the city of Danang aims to contribute to creating an exciting vacation with various experiences for golfers and tourists."
